About Us
Hey there! I’m Riley and this is my husband Douglas. I create maps, puzzles, and other handmade pieces that tell a story. It all started with a love for art and geography, and evolved into sharing my passion for places and storytelling with others. I create my maps from scratch using GIS data, ensuring that every detail is authentic and precise.
We’re an LGBT Veteran-owned business focused on making high-quality, handcrafted goods that carry a story. I work with American-made acrylic and locally-sourced wood to keep things close to home and support other small businesses. Many of the photographs I use are my own, captured while traveling the Pacific Northwest with my husband. We love to hike and explore nature, which deeply influences my work. For me, it's all about exploration, craftsmanship, and making art that resonates. Inspired by the wooden puzzles I loved as a child from nature photographer Thomas Mangelsen, I’ve evolved my own method for creating crystal-clear puzzles that preserve the imagery in a way that I’m truly proud of.
Whether it's a map that brings back memories, a puzzle that keeps you thinking, or a custom piece that tells your story, my goal is always to make something that stands out. I love working on new ideas, figuring out the best way to bring them to life, and everything here is made with care, intention, and a lot of creativity.
Thanks for checking out my work. I hope you find something here that speaks to you, sparks some inspiration, or just makes you smile. If you want to collaborate, share an idea, or just say hello, I'm always up for a good conversation—feel free to reach out.
